Here are three fun Christmas designs I made from an Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. The inspiration was the MacKenzie - Childs web site and I was inspired by three items in the Courtly Check section of the store. I loved the black and white check so much I had to force myself to stop going back for more inspiration!
My first card was inspired by this Courtly Check Table Top Penguin.
The penguin dies are a no name brand, the frames are Nordic Frames by The Greetery. The peace die is from PTI. The little bow tie is from the Tiny Gift Box Deer Add On die set from Lawn Fawn.
On all the cards, I made the black and white check with the Check Mate Stencil from Wendy Vecchi/Stampers Anonymous using black ink on white card stock.
My second card was inspired by the Courtly Check Large Deer.
My deer is the Dashing Deer die from Tim Holtz/Sizzix. The sentiment is the bottom of a Christmas Tag from Impression Obsession and the little holly is from Tiny Gift Box Deer Add On dies by Lawn Fawn. The Nordic Frame die is from The Greetery.
My third card was inspired by the Courtly Check White Magnolia.
The flower and leaves are Floral Fantasy 3D die set from Altenew. The sentiment is Penned Elegance dies and stamps from PTI and the frames are Nordic Frame Dies from The Greetery.

Oh wow Julia, I love all of these, the penguins are just adorable and the checkered deer is gorgeous with those little pops of red here and there. The flower is stunning, monochrome is always so elegant!

Love the way you've used the black and white checks - such unique cards! I think the reindeer one is my favourite - the gold and red is so perfect with the black and white!
