Today I am excited to be participating in the Creations by AR Designers Choice Blog Hop!
Adela has asked each of us to pick out our favorite Creations by AR Template and share it today! This was quite a hard task for this template lovin' girl - I love creating boxes, houses, vehicles - really ALL kinds of little treat containers - so I was hard pressed to pick a favorite.
I finally decided to share the sweet Dress Up Baby Bag since I just LOVE how cute it is - and how sweet it is to hold a gift for a new baby - not to mention how impressive this will look at a baby shower on the table where the gifts are placed!! We always want to impress people with what we create right!!??!
When Adela released this template I made it for a baby girl since my niece was expecting a girl shortly after the release. Then recently a co-worker asked me if I could make some for boys - as her friend just had twins and she wanted to send them something special! So I made these matching bags for her in boy colors.
On the front I adhered the included rocking horse shape and on the back I punched an oval and stamped each boys name on it so they would know whose was whose (a problem with identical twins I'm sure!). I also stamped their names on the little tag that I tied around the top of the hanger with a piece a twine. I used tiny clothes pins on the shoulders to help keep the bag closed as it's SO sturdy in cardstock that it tends to want to stay open (it looks perfectly fine open as well - which also allows for a larger gift to be put inside!) So I guess this is my current favorite Template from Creations by AR - but I will probably change my mind with the next release!!!
In case you missed the one I made for my now-born and already one month old grandniece, Madelyn Margaret - here's the set I made including the sweet Rockin' horse card and little Rockin' Cradle. You can see that post here.
And just for good measure - here are a few of my 'other' favorite templates that I have posted in the past with links to the template and my posts with more details in case you are interested!
The fun Lovely Cart that I made into a candy wagon here.
The glorious Harvest Pumpkin set - that I made in off white and gray here. I LOVE how the cover fits on this!
The Simply Scrumptious Shop - that I made as a spooky Halloween Haunted house here.
The Enchanted Lantern - that I made using photos of my niece, her husband and son printed on vellum here.
The Fore the Golfer cart - that I made as a wedding card here.
And finally - Papa's Trunk - that I made into a Steam Punk travel trunk here!
And just as a reminder - all of Adela's wonderful templates come in both PDF (you print and cut out by hand) and SVG formats (use with a cutting machine like Silhouette Cameo which is what I use).
