The Stars are Brightly Shining

Today I have a Christmas Card to share (yes - I work on them year round so I'm done by December!) And I'm so glad there are lots of challenges out there to inspire my designs!
I used Multi Step Ornament and Stars stamps from Kitchen Sink to stamp the star in my sky and the sentiment is from Peace on Earth by Verve.

My card was inspired by:

Wet Baby

Having missed the challenge deadline for yesterday's card - I wanted to be sure to get these posted before they were too late!  I have two cards to share.

I made my first card using a Tear Drops Stencil from MFT on a panel die-cut with a Stitched Mat Rectangle from Lil' Inker Designs.  I sponged only a portion of the stencil using Archival Cornflower ink.  The stamps are from Asian Garden Additions from Waltzingmouse.  I added 3 little dew drops to the stenciled tears (I haven't used these dew drops in years!)
I'm entering this card in the CAS-ology Cue Card - Wet challenge.
I have a friend who owns a sweet little baby shop in a neighboring town - and she buys baby cards from me to sell there.  I made this card to show her for possible purchase.  The blocks are from the Multi- Step Baby set by Kitchen Sink Stamps using 3 shades of pink ink  (see the baby shoes stamp on this card here)
Here you can hopefully see how 3D the image looks - it's really cool how the multi stamps work-  I die cut the panel the blocks are stamped on with a square Nestability.  The arrow is a die from MFT and the white panel was die cut (again!) with the stitched mat rectangle die from Lil' Inker Designs (I think I have used this die on almost every card I've made the last few weeks!!)
I made this card in 3 colors -  for girl babies, boy babies and for 'sex not known yet' babies!
For the design on these sweet baby cards I used the Wanna Sketch?

Cherish

Happy weekend everyone!  Today I have a card that I made for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Baby Booties (ETA I missed the deadline - bummer!)
This image is SO SO sweet and it instantly reminded me of the Multi Step Baby stamp set I have from Kitchen Sink Stamps.  I bought it way over a year ago - and today is the first time I've inked it up!  The set has lots of baby images - a mug, spoon, set of 3 ABC blocks boy shoes and girl shoes - plus lots of sentiment words - I, of course,  used the boy shoes today
I just love how the Multi Step Kitchen Sink stamps look so three dimensional - like a photo or a painting of the item.  For those of you who have never used these stamps -  there are 4 different shoe stamps that you use to stamp this -  for each stamp you use a different color blue - from light to dark -  each stamp has a smaller amount of detail than the one before it -  so you are layering colors and detail on top of each stamping.
And here are the sentiments - from the same set - that I stamped on the inside.

I've got lots of plans for this weekend -  Friday night I babysat for my sweet little Grand Nephew and Niece - Landon and Mila while their parents went to a Boston Celtics Game.  Today I'm traveling to Mason, NH with my sister to have a gourmet lunch at Pickity Place -  and tomorrow 2 friends and I are having an Easter Cards and treats sale at our church after services!

Stamps:  Multi Step Baby - Kitchen Sink Stamps
Paper:  White - PTI
Ink:  Memento Summer Sky, Teal Zeal, Bahama Blue and Nautical Blue
Accessories:  stitched edge mat die - Lil' Inker Designs, foam dots.

Embossed Baby

Happy Saturday everyone!  Here in Massachusetts it is an absolutely gorgeous fall day -  slightly warmer than usual being in the 60's bright sunshine with the beautiful color and smell of the fall foliage!  The Red Sox had a rolling rally in Boston today on the duck tour vehicles to celebrate their great win of the World Series -  but we didn't venture in with the million or so people who did!

So moving along to my card - today I made a  baby boy card
I clear embossed the Waltzingmouse Zigzag backgrounder stamp on some blueberry sky card stock for the PTI  baby die cut and the panel.
The white panel is dry embossed with Life Style Crafts Polka Dots.  I stamped the welcome from MultiStamp Baby set by Kitchen Sink Stamps onto a Die-namics Sentiment Strip.

I'm putting this card in two challenges:

and I used this weeks Seize the Sketch for my card design (although I flipped it!)
Tonight Kent and I are going to the Melrose Symphony  - Melrose is the city next to our town and they have a wonderful symphony that we buy season tickets to and tonight is the first performance of the season.  We meet some friends there and have a wonderful evening of beautiful music.

Tomorrow after church I am running a Card Stamping Workshop at my church with two friends -  we make 3 cards and it costs $10 which we donate to the church -  we usually have around 12 people - and it's a fun few hours chatting and stamping!

Stamps:  Waltzingmouse - Zig Zag Background Stamp, welcome from Multi-Stamp Baby set/Kitchen Sink Stamps.
Paper:  white, blueberry sky - PTI
Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black, Versamark
Accessories:  baby die - Wonderful words/PTI, Die-namics Sentiment Strips - MFT, clear embossing powder, hot gun, polka dots embossing folder - Life Style Crafts, foam dots.

A Camera and a Wedding!

Alanna was the Featured Stamper over at Split Coast this week - I had not seen her gallery before so it was a pleasure to be introduced to it today. I actually chose 2 cards to CASE. For my first card - I was inspired by her camera card . I used a different camera stamp, used a coordinating DP for my background and added a punched fence.

Stamps: Imaginisce Snag Em Stamps - Scooters Vacation collection
Paper: rustic white - PTI, Riding hood red & black - SU, DP Imaginesce Scooters Vacation/click
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Ranger Distress Tea Dye
Accessories: sponge and applicator - Ranger, copic R35, fence punch - Martha Stewart, small heart punch - McGill, foam dimensionals

My second card was inspired by Alanna's vintage wedding card

I've been wanting to use my new Kitchen Sink multi step Wedding couple so this was the perfect opportunity! I had to practice stamping it first to get it lined up correctly (there are 6 stamping steps with this set and multiple colors of ink to give it this great look). After I tried it the first time -the second time was easy - you just have to get used to the multi step technique which they explain on their web site.

I made my flower by punching a circle, cutting it into a swirl and rolling it up starting from the outside edge.

I just LOVE this wedding couple stamp don't you?!

Stamps: Kitchen Sink Stamps - Multi Step Wedding Couple
Paper: white - PTI, silver- Unknown, mulberry - unknown
Ink: Versafine Onyx blac, smokey grey, vintage sepia, Memento - Rhubarb stalk, cottage ivy,m angel pink, Brilliance perlescent beige, Versamagic - Wheat, pixie pink,, Ranger Distress tea dye
