Several of my friends 'hire' me to create special/personalized cards for their family/friends special days.
I made this card for a recent request for my friends grand daughter Lia's 9th birthday.
I used a newly purchased Cupcake Die from Whimsy Stamps along with a ballerina die from Amazon, letter and number dies from Sizzix. The background was embossed using Organic Petals 3D Embossing folder from Sizzix. I added a row of lace to ground the cupcake and personalized it with her name and the number 9. The cupcake, ballerina and sentiment are up on foam dots.
Instead of a folding card design - I added a die cut easel to the back of the panel so Lia can stand this up on her bureau or shelf!

Beautiful mix of elements that all work together perfectly to create a very special, personalized card. LOVE the embossing folder background ... need to buy it! :) And the cupcake with the ballerina on top is so sweet and pretty with the red glitter accents. xx
