CAS Christmas Mid Month reminder - Rainbow

I'm here with a reminder that you still have time to join the April CAS Christmas Challenge. You need to link your card by April 24th!  It's a tricky challenge -  hostess Trina wants us to think Rainbow and Christmas!

I used the colors of the rainbow to color this lovely stained glass stamp.  I embossed the image in gold and then colored the sections with Copics.  I die cut the image and popped it up on foam dots.
I die cut the frames with a beautiful new frame die set I recently purchased by MFT - Stitched Rectangle Scallop frames -  you can separate each frame and use it by itself or you can leave some together like I did here and create a beautiful multiple framing!  I took one frame off from the outside and two off from the inside here.

This shows the shine of the gold embossing and the lovely frame edge details.

So please show us how the rainbow inspires you in a Christmas card design!  You'll find lots of inspiration from the Design Team as well as our Guest Designer over at CAS Christmas.  You have through 4/24 to link up your card!

What a fresh idea to use rainbow colors for stained glass window, Julia! The window looks amazing with the gold embossing! And thank you for sharing the great tips for the scallop frame die use. I never thought of using the positive and negative die-cut frames together. They make wonderful frames in all white!
