Reminder: June CAS Stencil Card Challenge - Perfect Pearls

I'm here to share another card I made for the June CAS Stencil Card Challenge - and to remind you you still have until June 24th to link up your card!  There are links to technique videos over at CAS Stencil.
Our lovely host Linda has asked us to use Perfect Pearls with our stencils this month.
For this card I used just one color Perfect Gold.
I used the Perfect Pearls on both my sweet swinging girl stencil Play Every Day from Stencil Girls and my sentiment stamp from Let the Wind Carry You by Altenew.   Here you can see that I already did the stencil (pouncing over the stencil with Versamark than brushing on the Perfect Pearls) and have just brushed the Perfect Pearls over the sentiment that was stamped with Versamark.
The Perfect Pearls are so wonderfully shimmery in the light, especially with the gold on the black.  As with my first card for the challenge, the powder didn't seem to totally brush off the card and leaves a little golden shadow on the black.  After I brushed off all I could - I misted the panel with water to seal it.
I layered the black panel to a slightly larger gold panel and then to a white card base.  I added little colored flowers as a headband.
We can't wait to see how you use Perfect Pearls with your stencils!  You have until June 24th to link up at CAS Stencil.
You'll also find lots of inspiration there from the rest of the Design Team as well as our creative Guest Designer this month:  Chrissie (Simply One of a Kind)

Stamps:  Let the Wind Carry You - Altenew
Paper:  White, True Black - PTI, Kraft Stock Metallic - Tim Holtz/Idea-ology
Ink:  Versamark
Accessories:  Play Every Day Stencil - Stencil Girls, soft brushes, water mister, Perfect Pearls Gold, Mixed Flowers - Simon Says Stamp.

Sweet stencil, Julia. Looks amazing in the perfect pearls gold on black card stock. I was reminded recently that using an anti-static pad before stamping with versamark will help to clean off the excess powder more easily. Need to give that a try myself, but it sounds good. :) I love the touch of colours from the flowers in the girl's hair ... very special touch! xx

This looks gorgeous, and perfectly CAS. I love the gold on the black, and the touch of colour from the flowers really pops.
As Loll said an anti static bag does help with the powder but you can also use a soft eraser to gently rub away any left over residue xx

Love the gold on the black, and the way you get the gold haze all over the black. What a wonderful stencil and what a perfect sentiment to go with it! Great embellishment with the little flowers for a headband.

What a fun stencil, Julia. The gold shimmer of the Perfect Pearls is gorgeous on black. I find the Perfect Pearls residue on dark cardstock is always a challenge, but you made it work beautifully. xx

Your gold swinging girl and sentiment are beautiful with the black background, Julia. Love how you added the pretty little flowers to the girls hair too. TFS my friend. Hugs...

That stencil is gorgeous and enahanced by the gold and black. I have the same problem when using perfect pearls, so I have learnt something reading your blog and comments. The main thing being - don't worry about it as it actually enhances the picture xx

I'm so sorry I haven't been to visit for so long... I've just fallen out of the habit with so much going on, and never seem to quite get back in the full swing!

That's a gorgeous intricate stencil - and the golden glimmer gives the impression of a sunlit afternoon spent on the swing - simply charming - and so effective against the black.
