We're halfway through September already and it's time to remind you about the CAS Mix Up Card Challenge - Ink Stamps with Markers! For your inspiration, there are links to a lot of fun technique videos over at the Blog.
For this card I was inspired by Sandy Allnock's video - Inking the stamps with Tombow Markers, stamping them on watercolor paper and then brushing over them with a slightly wet paint brush to move the colors. I also used die cuts - Noted Scalloped Square from PTI and Mini Provincial 3D Impresslits from Tim Holtz/Sizzix (these are SO cool!)
I just love the little watercolor garden scene I created here - and it was SO simple! I'm definitely making more of these! I have some older red rubber-on-wood Art Impressions stamps that I used but I guess they make them as clear stamps now as that is what Sandy used in her video here: Art Impressions Watercolor by Sandy Allnock (12:20) She used these stamps.

Very pretty garden Julia! I haven't bought any of the Art impressions small garden images, but they look amazing here and now I have to go take a closer look at their shop. You enable me, my friend! :) Love the mix of colours and the sweet way you've framed it. xx
