Today they are revealing all the cards sent and received over at the March Card Chain Challenge. This month I sent my card to Joanne in CT and received a beautiful card from Lia in the Netherlands!
I used the March Sketch option and two of the theme options: Forest and Friendship.
First, I masked off the edges of my card panel.and sponged the inside area lightly with Tea Dye Distress Ink using a blender brush. Then I sponged over the panel with White Orbs Stencil and Tea Dye Distress Ink which added the darker small circles. I removed the masking tape from the edges and stamped the Keeping Faith Sentiment in black ink using my Misti. I stamped the Fairy Fir Tree 2 stamp in black ink in the bottom right corner slightly off the edges of the panel, again using my Misti. I used an acrylic circle mask to sponge the large circles as per the sketch.

Time to make my Easter Cards!
I water colored a panel of white with strokes of Bronze paint to make it
look more like the uneven coloring on an egg shell, and die cut a Nestability egg out of the panel. I cut
the top off the die cut egg using the bottom edge of the egg die.
I die cut and water colored Snow Drops and stems out of white and adhered them to the
back of the egg with tape.
I embossed the background with the Tufted
Embossing Folder from SU and then stenciled over it with the Pebbles stencil from Lavinia
using Antique Linen Distress ink and a blending brush - just lightly stenciling
over the center of the panel.
I adhered the egg and snowdrops to the panel with thick foam dots,
curving the outside edges of the egg down. I added Glossy White Nuvo
Crystal drops over the snow drop blossoms to add a little dimension. I stamped the sentiment and punched it with the Word Window punch from SU.

Looking ahead to the promised spring and working on my Easter/Spring cards!
Time to get the St. Patrick's Day cards made!
I created a pinwheel quilt on the center of my card. It was a Technique Lovers challenge over at Split Coast Stampers and they linked to this instruction YouTube video. (I really should have used a plain paper and a patterned paper rather than two patterns so the pinwheel design showed up better)
I cut two squares of metallic gold 2 5/8" x 2 5/8" and eight 1" squares (4 of one pattern and 4 of another pattern).
I adhered the two gold pieces together, one on an angle, and then added the squares over each other in the pattern shown on the video.
I used the 3D Impresslets Embossing Folder Lucky Love by Tim Holtz/Sizzix for the 4 leaf clover in the center.
Both the quilt panel and shamrock are up on foam dots.
I stamped the LUCKY in the corner. My card is 4 1/2" square.

Week #1 Use Stamps
In support of the Ukraine and it's people - I made this card in the colors of their flag and with sunflowers, one of their major exports.
I used the lovely Botanicuts Sunflower die from The Greetery for my blooms. I took a large panel of watercolor paper and smooshed it onto my craft mat that was inked with Ranger Distress Dried Marigold, Wild Honey and Squeezed Lemonade inks and spritzed with water. When the panel was dry, I die cut enough layers of petals to create 3 sunflowers.
The color wasn't as bright as I wanted it so I tapped some Lemon Brushos on the petal pieces and Rustic Brown Brushos on the center pieces and spritzed them with water. After this was dry, I layered the petals on top of each other and adhered the center pieces.
The sentiments are from an old retired set called Army from The Greeting Farm.

Inspired by the 3 blooms photo but made them yellow with a blue background.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Ukrainian people during this terrible time.
