Five Golden Rings

We're expecting a snowstorm here in MA tonight and tomorrow - mixed reports of how much and whether it will change to rain in the morning -  but we're bracing for 4"-8" which isn't too much but enough to shovel and snow blow for sure!

So - before I get involved with the removal of snow - I made a card for a couple of challenges.  I know I will be needing some Thank You cards for after Christmas.
I made it one layer for this week's Less is More challenge -  and the theme was to be inspired somehow by the Twelve Days of Christmas -   so I gold embossed a row of 'rings' across my card for the 'five golden rings'.

All of my stamps are from Waltzingmouse -  Pic-Nic Patterns, Vintage Christmas Backgrounder, and Say It Loud.  I masked the edges to leave a white border and then stamped the background in tan ink.  Then I stamped the rings with Versamark and gold embossed them.  And finally - I just stamped the sentiment in black on the card.

My colors were chosen based on the Inspiration Challenge over on Split Coast today -  where I found this phone case from Michael Kors web store.
Kent and I are off to a Holiday Pops Concert at the Melrose Symphony tonight - in the lovely snowfall!  Sure to get us in the Christmas Spirit!  Here's the view outside my dining room window tonight as the storm is just beginning.

I hope you can stop by tomorrow to see my very first posting on Team Talk - the Waltzingmouse Inspiration blog!

Stamps: Pic-Nic Patterns, Say It Loud, Vintage Christmas Background - Waltzingmouse
Paper: white - PTI
Ink: Versamark, Memento Toffee Crunch, Archival Jet Black
Accessories: Gold Embossing Powder, heat gun, Eclipse tape (for masking)
