You should start the Waltz at Claires blog. If you've arrived here from Anyas blog you are in the right place!
Today I'm altering a Laughing Cow cheese box!
And turning it into a lovely little round box that holds 6 round monogramed note cards.
This pretty frame stamp is from the new Victorian Fripperie set and the initials are from the Victorian Alphabet Set.
I die cut six cards using the large scalloped circle Nestabilities placing the die a little above the top fold so it didn't cut through and left the fold intact. I stamped the circle and initials, sponged the edges and added little gems. They all tuck neatly inside the box!
I adhered lace to the edge of the cover and twill ribbon to the bottom edge using Scor Tape
I included 6 regular size envelopes so it wouldn't cost any extra postage to mail these little notes and tied it all up with this pretty green silk ribbon! I made this little gift for my sister, Marcia, who celebrated her 60th birthday last weekend!

W-O-W! I think you're amazing at altering things. I don't even THINK about making something like this from random left over food containers.

Oh my, this is just SO special! Love that Frippery set, and you've made a stunning gift out of it. I always wondered how to do a spellbinders shaped card without two pieces... makes sense now that you showed me how! (I was thinking, when would you know when to stop? duh..LOL) TFS!!
What an excellent recycling idea! I would never have thought of using one of those containers. Your project is wonderful!

OH MY GOSH! Would you believe I JUSt threw away SIX of those Laughing Cow cheese containers recently because I could not think of anything to create with them and thought "Well, I'll never use them..." DOH! Your creation is beautiful.

Now this is just the cutest! Love the perfect style of all the sets together and the lace! Oh how fun!
So funny, I've been TRYING to save and recycle these containers for sometime now. My oldest son seems to be the one that uses the last piece and "forgets" to save it for me. I'll fix that, I take them out as soon as I buy the next one. As usual, I loved your project.
So VERY chic!!
