Inspired by Artwork

My good friend Anne Harada was hosting the Inspiration challenge over on Split Coast this week. Whoo Hoo Anne! I was away all day but just had to participate after I saw all the wonderful inspirations on Geninne's Art Store site. I was actually inspired to make two cards.

My first card was inspired by this tree and bird printMy stamps are from two Waltzingmouse Stamp sets. Everything is embossed with white embossing powder. The circles on the tree are made by a hole punch and the bird is up on foam dimensionals. What pretty art work on this site Anne!
ETA: I'm also entering this into the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge this week to use red!
Stamps: Blessed by You, Celtic Heritage - Waltzingmouse Stamps
Paper: white, terre cotta tile, smokey shadow - PTI
Accessories: foam dimensionals, white EP, hot gun, rhinestones - PTI, hole punch

This 2nd card was inspired by this flower and hummingbird print. My stamps are from Spring Baskets and Off Beat Backgrounds. I cut around some of the leaves with an exacto knife and lifted them up for a little dimension. I added buttons to the flower centers. The stitching around the yellow frame is actually a background stamp - I love how it looks like real stitching!

I added a little bit of yellow stickles to the wings of the cute bees for a little touch of shimmer!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'm so excited to be having Monday (President's Day in the US) off from work - an extra day for stamping!
Stamps: Waltzingmouse - Spring Baskets, Off beat backgrounds
Paper: Yellow tart, white, enchanted evening, scarlet jewell - PTI
Ink: Memento tuxedo black
Accessories: exacto knife, square nestabilities, foam dimensionals, swiss dots and argyle cuttlebug folders, white gel, copics - YG63, YG03, C1, Y02, R59, B45, yellow stickles

Julia,

OMG the first card is almost exactly the same as the inspiration challenge!! Yours is so beautiful - partly because of the great stamps, but also the beautiful colors! I love how you've put this together!

The second card is also amazing! I"m glad to know how you did the stitching! The flowers are wonder with their little bright white accents! REally nice work!!!
