Well - I just happened to have this Home Spun Cotton Scrap from Crafty Secrets with the vintage image and sassy sentiment already together for me!
I re-purposed a small candy tin I had received for Christmas by covering it with this fun Basic Grey Nook & Pantry/beaters DP. I cut two panels with Nestabilities (Labels Eight and Labels Four)and layered them with the cotton scrap to the front of the tin. Then I added some pretty lace I had around the edge of the cover and along the bottom of the tin. Finally - I sponged all over everything with Ranger Tea Dye Distress ink to make it look like it was really old.I made a layered flower using the same DP to put on the cover with a couple of Prima Artful leaves.
Here's a view of the whole tin. This really looks like something out of grandma's kitchen cabinet - don't you think?!
