Simply Sympathy

I'm off from work today for President's Day and it's been cloudy and rainy all day. That's all the excuse I need to spend the day in my stamping room making new cards! I've completed three so far - so look for two more getting loaded shortly here on my blog. The temperature actually got up to 60 here in Massachusetts today so we did have the heat off and windows open to air out the house and smell the sweet air!

I made this sympathy card for Sharon's (notimetostamp) Friday challenge - to make a statement with this simple layout and one important focal point.
This is a top fold card that is 4 1/4 x 11 folded in half. I used a great twig wreath stamp that I have by PSX that I inked with Ranger Tea Dye Distress Ink. I colored the berries with a Prismacolor marker to coordinate with my BasicGrey Figgypudding DP. The sympathy sentiment is from Stampin Up.
I layered the image, that is stamped on Papertrey white, with a panel of Cranberry Crisp by SU. The card is SU Blue Caribbean. I chose all my colors to coordinate with the DP.
Sharon's challenge is proof that Simple can be Stunning. I'd love to hear what you think by clicking on comments below!
