Lauren's Nest

Isn't this just the cutest basket?! I found the tutorial on how to make this on Lauren's blog here. You can also see her gallery on Split Coast Stampers here.

It is made with 4 large scalloped rectangle nestability panels and one large scalloped square for the bottom. I did emboss all the panels as well.
You score the side panels on the sides and bottom and you score the front and back panels only on the bottom so you can glue the panels together. I used Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive for this and it worked great as it does, in fact, dry quickly! I got mine at Michaels.
I cut 2 scalloped circles, one very vanilla and one Wild Wasabi, for the front - stamped it with my Michael's $1 stamp, then colored it with Prismacolor Markers and put dimensionals on both of them and attached them to the front of the basket.
The handle is 11 x 1 1/2 and I also put panels of the DP on it. The handle is just attached to the inside walls of the basket and it gives the basket stability. This cute double sided designer paper is by SEI called Winnies Walls. I got mine on line at Eclectic Paperie.
I am so excited to find a fun craft to make using my nestabilities. It helps justify my buying them!
I'll be making these for our Easter sale at church for sure. They'd also be fun as place settings for Easter Dinner with the family!
Thanks for stopping by - I really appreciate your checking out my cards and crafts! See you tomorrow with whatever I do next!

This is so cute! I don't have any square or rectangle Nestabilities....yet! But when I get them, I'm gonna make myself one of these cuties! Love the paper and your little $1 stamp!
