Today I made a card for the newest Color Hues Challenge.
This giant flower was made with Scalloped Petals Die from Concord and 9th. The lady bug is also a die in the set and I made her yellow and black (which I've seen in real life).
It was tough not grabbing a green for the leaves, but I found a black/yellow honeycomb pattern in a DP set The Bees Knees by Honeybee
The sentiment is from the coordinating stamp set - Scalloped Petals - also from Concord and 9th.
I added black and yellow enamel dots from Altenew.
I stamped a sympathy sentiment inside - as I need a few more sympathy cards for my stash.
Also sending my card to:
Anything Goes Ends June 29
Stamps: Scalloped Petals - Concord & 9th.
Paper: True Black, Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup, DP Bitty Big Smokey Shadow - PTI, DP The Bees Knees - Honey Bee Stamps.
Ink: Nocturne - Versafine Clair
Other Supplies: Scalloped Petals Die - Concord & 9th, enamel dots - Altenew.

Julia...ohmystars! I'm completely smitten with your wonderful tulip card! You've made yellow and black shine with your polka dot and honeycomb patterned papers. enamel dots and, of course, the adorable little lady bug. Thank you so much for sharing this delight in the Colour Hues gallery!

What a statement that beautiful tulip makes! The patterned paper you found for the leaves is delightful, and the charming ladybug is a great addition! Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!
That BIG bloom is oodles of fun, but you had me with the polka dots! What a delightful card, Julia!
