Well, since we seem to be getting a blizzard every week in March here in New England
(the next one is expected this Wed and Thurs with possibly a foot of wet snow!)
I don't feel too out of season making a Christmas card!
It's a clean and simple one - just one layer. I stenciled the background using a Mini Layering Stencil from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous using Classic Kraft Ink. Then I stamped the solid holly over the stenciling using Hawaiian Shores Ink and finally stamped the holly outlines, berries and sentiment using Cocoa Bean Ink. The stamps are from the Layered Holly set by Stamplorations.
I'm linking my card to the following challenges:
Paper: White - PTI
Ink: Cocoa Bean, Classic Kraft, Cocoa Bean - PTI
Accessories: Mini Layered Stencil - Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous

Aren't you a clever one! Never would I have thought to use these colors with Holly but it works! Nice job! So happy you joined the team and I over at Just Us Girls for Color Week!
What a fun nontraditional Christmas card, Julia! Love this shade of blue and how it plays off the stenciling! Fantastic, my friend! I hope they're wrong and you don't get that much snow! Hopefully it melts some in between storms! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas!
these are my favorite colours so awesome and non traditional. Love it, thanks for joining us at CAS Christmas :)
I sure hope you don't get a foot of snow this week - ugh! Love the non-traditional colours and the slightly retro look to your card. Thanks for joining in with holly at CAS Christmas!
I love the transparent effect you achieved by stamping your light colored solid holly leaves over your stenciled background. I would not have thought to use those colors for Christmas. Very artsy. TFS Julia. Sure hope you do not get a foot of WET snow...yuck! Stay warm and dry, my friend. Hugs
I love this beautiful card, the layered holly is beautiful against the stripe background! Hugs, Anne xx
Great layering effect using the stencil and stamping and gorgeous colours together. Beautiful and elegant CAS card x

LOVE the colours of your holly card Julia!! These colours give a masculine feel to the card - love that stenciled background! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas! xx
Wonderful card Julia. I love the aqua and brown together, always a favourite of mine for a wintery creation. The offset stamping is fabulous and I love that stencil pattern in the background. Great sentiment stamp, the font is so much fun!! Hope all has been well with you, sending hugs :)
Ohhhh...your stylized holly in turquoise and browns is quite striking and wonderfully pretty! Fabulous! So glad you joined the JUGS gallery this week; hope you'll be back often!
