Make Art for Christmas

I have another Christmas Card to share today - using lots of Wendy Vecchi products.
Here are a few photos of how I made my background panel using a technique Wendy taught at a class I took with her about a year ago.  I put some drops of WV Archival Cornflower Blue and Tiger Lily reinkers along with a splash of Rubbing Alcohol onto my craft mat.  I swirled them together with a pallet knife.
Then I dragged the Ranger Specialty paper panel through the mix - letting it drip down the panel - adding more Rubbing Alcohol until I got the look I wanted.  I made all these pieces using my little puddle!
I stamped the frame from Holiday Art and the lace stamp from Beauty of Art onto the panel with WV Archival Watering Can Ink.  I stamped Ornate Dots Background in Tree Branch.  I used WV Black Embossing Paste with the Merry Christmas stencil from SASI For the Holidays.
I stamped the tree from Holiday Art in Fern Green and Script Background stamp in Watering Can onto a piece of Newsprint that I had adhered to a sheet of Clearly for Art Modeling Film.  I fussy cut the tree and hit it with my heat tool so it would bend a little (the Clearly for Art will soften when heated).  I made the stars by embossing a piece of white card stock with WV Tree Branch Embossing powder and cutting them with the star die from  Tim Holtz Thinlit Shape Strips.
I embossed the Mat Minis Flower Pot with WV Red Geranium embossing powder and adhered it and the tree to the panel with foam dots.
