Fusion Challenge - Sept 17 - Peacock Dynasty

It's time for another Fusion Challenge  - what great school themed cards everyone made for the last one!  Here is today's challenge and, as you know by now -  you can be inspired by the photo OR the sketch - OR you can do a FUSION and be influenced by both!
Today I went with both!  I used a bird instead of a peacock and I moved the pieces around a bit on the sketch -  but that's allowed!!
I used Tim Holtz' Bird Silhouette Die, cutting it out of white card stock and coloring it with Brushos - I tapped Turquoise, Orange and Ultra Marine crystals on the bird and then spritzed it with water and the crystals just BURST into color - the more you spray with water - the more they blend.  I dried it with my heat gun.
The Pretty Circles die is  from Waltzingmouse.  The little heart is a Movers and Shapers small heart.  I adhered the bird and white heart with foam dots.  The sentiment stamp is from a set by Dina Wakley called Scribbly Birds.
How will you be inspired??  Can't wait to see!  You will find the challenge, the link, and lots of inspiration from my fellow teamies over at the Fusion Blog here.

I'm also linking my card to Darnell's challenge:
I've had the bird die for months and this is the first time I've finally used it!

Stamps:  Scribbly Birds - Dina Wakley
Paper:  White, True Black, Text Style Distressed Dots - PTI
Ink:  Archival Jet Black
