Make It Monday - Using Gelatos with Stamps

What a lovely PTI Make It Monday today -  using Gelatos with stamps to soften the look -  You'll find Melissa's great video tutorial here.
I used several PTI stamp sets for my tag today -  the Happy Birthday is from the very first PTI set simply called Papertrey Vol 1 No 1 - it's all sentiments.  The flowers, honeybee and some of the stems are from Honey Bees, the dots background above the sentiment (you almost can't see it!) is from Background Basics/Retro and the text along the bottom is from Background Basics/Text Style.I also used a partial stamping of the large leafed stem from Brushed Blooms.
After all the stamping was done - I started with the Gelatos as shown in the video - rubbing a color on a paper towel and then rubbing the paper towel onto the tag with a circular motion around the blooms and the stems, using similar colors around each blossom.  I used several Gelato colors - Bubblegum, Tangerine, Lemon and Margarita.
I was so happy with this that I made four more for my birthday stash - I need two of them already for two friends birthdays that are next week!  I think a tag makes for a lovely card, especially one so cheery as this!
I'm also entering my tag in the Tag You're It challenge.

And Seize the Birthday - Make your own background

Oh Julia, just have to echo Birgit, these are a walk in the park! Loving that you did a bunch to have on hand, something I need to do! Beautiful stamp choice for the flowers, and enjoyed the names of the tasty, tangy inks!
