Down by the Sea - a Mini Configuration Book - Richele Christensen class!

Finally had a chance to photograph and post the 2nd project I made at the recent workshop I attended at Absolutely Everything run by Richele Christensen.  Everything (accept the real shells, star fish, fish netting and sand in the bottles) is Tim Holtz/Ranger.

The class was entitled:  Down by the Sea - Mini Configuration Book  -  and here it is, in all it's glory!
The front cover:
Close ups of cover.  That's the back of a Found Relative card behind the seahorse - isn't the design lovely!  I don't think I ever looked at the back of one of these cards.
She also supplied the great fish netting we could use where ever we wanted
Inside Cover:
Inside of boxed side:  see the lit lantern in the top left??!!  HOW FUN IS THAT??!!!
Close ups:  Richele had already attached the Clip Board Clip to the cover for us.
We inked and crackled the pieces, coloring and placing them as we wished.  I pretty much followed Richele's sample but added some scattered  Word stickers and colored things differently.
We each got a complete set of Letterpress letters so we could create whatever words we wanted.
Richele already had the jars covered with clear Crackle and filled with sand, shells and glitter - we added color with stain or paint, tied on the twine and little heart charm
We made the little box to the left of LIFE into a shaker box - filled with sand and shells sealed with Glue N Seal on a piece of acetate over the front. We covered ALL of the edges with pieces of Tissue Tape.
Here's the back of the box - that shows how we cut the top inside corner and tucked the wire for the battery pack in it and adhered it to the box with velcro.
Isn't this grand??!!  Well worth the cost of the class - it included ALL supplies -  we just had to bring scissors!!  Richele had already filled the Custom Knob with Glue N Seal and set the star fish in it so it was ready for us to attach to the cover..
Here's Richele -  from the first day of class when we made cards and a folio -   I forgot  my camera on the 2nd day -  so could only show you the finished box - not step by step!
Thanks for stopping by!
