A Vintage Merry Christmas to You!

Here is a second card I made for the challenge contests going on over at Paper Crafts Moxie Fab World. (see yesterday's post for my first card). They're asking you to make specific kinds of holiday cards and link them back to their blog for a chance to win some fun prizes and to be featured on their blog.

I made this card for the 'create a shabby chic or vintage' holiday card.

I thought this pretty Christmas label stamp from Waltzingmouse Stamps had a vintage look to it. I embossed it in gold and set it on 2 Nestability circles against this lovely holly designer paper from Basic Gray (Wassail). I tied a pretty gold ribbon from Papertrey Ink through slots punched in the circles - leaving a loop on one end and tying a bow on the other. To finish it off I added 3 gold brads to the bottom corner.

So check out the vintage challenge and enter your cards! Or - wish me luck in winning!?! Be sure to check back to see more projects for the other challenges that I'll be posting this week.

Stamps: Waltzingmouse Stamps: Very Vintage Christmas
Paper: Vintage cream: PTI, True Thyme, Purely pomegranate: SU, DP Basic Grey/Wassail
Ink: embossing pad
Accessories: gold ribbon: PTI, Slot punch: SU, circle Nestabilities, Gold embossing Powder, hot gun, gold brads.
