It's time for a new challenge over at Inkspirational - and here is my DT card made for the challenge!
I stamped 3 greenery images from All Blessings Flow by The Greetery - stamping them with 3 different Ranger Distress Oxide inks - Shabby Shutters, Pine Needles and Rustic Wilderness.
I traced an oval die in pencil on the black card stock base to guide where I should stamp the individual stamps to make a wreath.
I stamped the sentiment from Wreath for All Seasons from Papertrey Ink (retired) inside the wreath using Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide Ink.
(Note: Regular Distress Inks don't show up on black)
I added holly berries using Red Glitter Glue.
Then I thought - oh, oh - I really didn't use any Christmas Florals!?! Do I have to use both??!! I really love this card - can I still post it??!!
So....backing up..... when I started thinking of a card design after I picked out what stamps I wanted to use - I had stamped one of the greenery stamps onto black scrap panels to see if the Oxide inks did, in fact, show up on the black - and they did! Beautifully!
I put the panels aside and started stamping my wreath card on a full black panel.
So, I made a second card, layering my 'try out' panels onto a lovely floral DP from Quiet Christmas Morning from Unity, just to cover all the bases!! The die cut sentiment is from Memory Box.
So - we hope you will join us in this challenge - perhaps to get a few Christmas cards done?? Since it IS Nov now!!
