Well, we're three days into the New Year, we got at least 18" of snow last night in the first storm of the year and I have a simple card to share that I made for two challenges!
The challenges are:
Is anyone else out there glad to see 2013 go?? I didn't have a bad year but it was something about the number 2013 - I had a lot of trouble writing it all year- I'm not superstitious - not sure what it was - but I'm really glad we have moved on to 2014!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Ms. Julia I was just thinking about you while reading about the storm that is up your way and there you were, commenting on my blog! You are such a sweetheart!! Happy New Year to you my friend, and thanks for the perfect Christmas Card! LOVE IT! Your creations are always the best, just like the one you made today in the middle of your winter storm! Stay warm and safe GF!! (p.s. stop by later this weekend, I made-over my craft room and will be posting the pics!)
I love this card - the background is super and the leaves are just fab! Lovely sentiment too. Thanks so much for playing along with Waltzingmouse Fanatics!
BTW - Don't envy you 18" of snow - I though 8" was bad enough!!
Julia, this sentiment makes me smile...love the soft colors...beautiful!
Beautiful card Julia! Hope you are staying safe and warm! Sending warm sunny thoughts your way from Phoenix!
That leaf stamp is so fun ... great idea to stamp colored bands behind it!
We had 14 inches, or at least that's what my tape measure told me when I stuck my arm out the patio door. It definitely looked deeper a little farther out. Stay warm!
This is Beautiful Julia!!! Love those leaves!!! Happy New Year :)
Julia your card is gorgeous and inspiring me to buy more WM--LOL Thank you so much for joining us at the Curtain Call, so good to see you. Happy New Year!
Such a pretty card! Love your choice of the weave image for the background!
Wow I can't imagine 18" of snowfall in one night - terrifying!
Thanks so much for joining in our challenge again - I love the basket weave backround and the pop of colour from the dots.
Happy New Year.
