Waltzingmouse Aug Release - Sneak Peek Day 1

Welcome everyone to the first day of the Waltzingmouse August Release Sneak Peeks!  Today the Design Team is showing creations using 3 of the whopping 9 new sets being released on Saturday, Aug 10th.
Tying the Knot, Safe Harbor Sentiments and Ocean Bound.

I have samples to share using stamps from each of these wonderful nautical theme sets.

First up is Tying the Knot - a small set containing 5 different rope stamps and 6 sentiments.  I'm showing one of each on my gold embossed wedding card.   The framings are Marvelous Squares by Spellbinders.
Next I have a faith card - using a Bible Verse stamp from Safe Harbor Sentiments another small set containing 4 quote sentiments and a small sailboat stamp.

Blue and white are the clean colors that say ocean to me - so those are the colors I used on my card.  The back panel is embossed with a clockwork embossing folder.  I used a cut file for the ships wheel that Claire will have in the shop. I die cut the Bible verse with a Spellbinders Wonky Rectangle
The wheel is from the Ocean Bound set and coordinates nicely to the ships wheel in the verse don't you think?!  and look at the beautiful wood grain look it has.
And for my final offering today I made a masculine birthday card using stamps from the full size Ocean Bound Set that has 15 images and 11 sentiments!  Again - I used the cut files for this set for the ship and both sentiments.
Here's a close up  - look at the great mix of fonts on the sentiments and the beautiful detail on this sail boat!
I hope you are inspired by my samples today -   Let's go see what the other Design Team Members have to show us shall we?

Oh Julia these samples are beautiful and so different from each other. I think the second is my fave -that sentiment pairs so well with the wonky rectangle which kinda looks like a ships sail !
