One Layer Spring has Sprung Sketch!

Hi Stamping friends!   TGIF!!  I'm SO excited the weekend is here -  yard work is on the 'to do list' but that's ok -  I enjoy being outdoors and the weather is supposed to be sunny and warm here in MA.

So for today's card I'm using the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch -

I die cut a rectangle out of the card base for the rectangle piece on the sketch, and I chose the images based on the One Layer Wednesday - Spring has Sprung.  There's a prize for this weeks OLW of  the Waltzingmouse Stamp set - Blessed by You!    I used two WMS sets on my card today -  the sentiments and daffodils are from Spring Baskets and the background stamp is from Pic-Nic Patterns (I LOVE this stamp!)
On another day - I might have framed the rectangle or added some bling to the centers of the flowers or around the sentiment - but since the challenge is to keep it CAS -  that's how I kept it!!  Here's how the inside of the card looks when the receiver opens it up!
I'll be sending this to my 94 year old Aunt Edie in Georgia for Mother's Day  -  She is the last remaining sibling of the four girls in my mother's family -  I send her cards for every holiday since I don't get to see her very often and she always appreciates receiving them.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Are you getting ready to participate in the Friends of WMS Blog Party on the 17th?  The theme this month is Teacher Appreciation -  you'll find all the details here.

This is such a beautiful take on the sketch. I love your window and the beautifully colored flowers inside it. And, how fun that there is more to the sentiment inside the card.

Brilliant I love the window cards, I had made a couple and I showed them to my friend,, who immediately started to laugh,I had covered the window with my image instead of putting it inside. Shesh I'm not a good card maker but thats okay:):). Thanks for sharing now I know what to do.. Have a wonderful day Julia..
