WMSC17 - You'll be Missed On World Card Making Day!

Happy World Card Making Day my dear stampers! I hope you will be making at least one card in honor of the day! And why not use this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch?!? Look how coolie cool this is!!!
The sketch screamed CLEAN AND SIMPLE to me this week (did you hear that scream??!!) - so that's what I made!
The grid stamp, that I inked with two different colors here, is from Asian Gardens. I made this card to give to a doctor I work with who is moving to Savannah, GA with his PhD wife and their two young children next week to start new jobs at another hospital. To commemorate the start of their new lives there - this is what I stamped inside.
Both Sentiments are from Free Spirit Sentiments and the airplane is from Free Spirit - Boy. I drew the framing with a Micron fine black pen.

So now there are two things for you to do -
1) In honor of World Card Making Day - Claire is offering a free digi image and a chance to win a free stamp set - check it out on the WMS blog here.
2) Check out the WMS Sketch Blog and get inspired by the cards the Mischief Makers and other DT members have created this week!

Then make your own card using the sketch and link it on the Sketch Blog by Thursday 10/7/10 at 11:59 pm EST - you could be chosen Top Mouse next week!! Sometimes Claire offers little random winner prizes too - you never know!
So what are you waiting for - go make a card!!!
Oh! and ONE more thing! I'll be starting sneak peeks for the new October release WMS stamps along with the other DT's on Monday so be sure to check back then!
Stamps: Waltzingmouse Stmaps - Asian Gardens, Free Spirit - Boy, Free Spirit Sentiments.
Paper: White - PTI
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Ranger Distress: Chipped Sapphire, Crushed Olive
Accessories: Enchanted Evening Ribbon - PTI, stapler
