Here's to Your Roof!

I made this card for the Sketch challenge on Split Coast - I used a beautiful new set by Waltzingmouse Stamps called Irish Blessings. I just love this cottage on the hillside and all the wonderful Irish Blessings Claire included in the set. I colored the image with copics and it and the sentiment are up on foam dimensionals.

I clear embossed shamrocks on the bottom black section but it doesn't show up very well on the picture. Here is a close up of them - it's a subtle little look but you can really see them IRL!
And look - I have a picture of the Copics that I used - isn't that impressive! Just like the big guys!!! ok - I'm over myself now.....

So I'm loading this from my lap top - I'm still having issues with my PC after downloading Internet Explorer 8 - even though I then went back to a restore point prior to downloading - I now have no favorites icon on my toolbar and all my favorites are gone (or inaccessible) and I cannot load pictures onto SCS (Horrors!!!) thank goodness I have my laptop or I'd be having a nervous breakdown!

Thanks for coming by today and listening to me rant and rave! I'm teaching at the Stamping Around weekend in Farmington, CT this Friday and Saturday - so I may not be around until after the weekend - but you never know!

Stamps: Waltzingmouse Stamps: Irish Blessings
Paper: PTI: White, True Black, Ocean Tides
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark Watermark
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, copics, foam dimensionals

Great card!!Love the embossed shamrocks -nice and subtle!Great blessing too - in Irish these old sayings are known as "seanfhocail" (pronounced shan-uckle) meaning old words-you should do a google search for them as some of them are really clever!
