I made these two cards for today's inspiration challenge on Split Coast which was the Pottery Barn Teen catalogue web site. I was inspired by this quilt:I made two cards - one minimal and one stepped up for the January Fan Club More is More challenge. (One of these cards is not like the other - one of these cards is not the same... that song just popped into my head and now it won't pop out!!!)On one card I sewed up and down the panels with my sewing machine to give the card the quilted look, I popped up the center square as well as the sentiment, sponged the outside edges of the card with So Saffron ink and attached two dew drops on either side of the stamped square.
On the less card - I did not do the sewing, only popped up the sentiment and did not sponge on color or add dew drops.
The pretty heart quilt stamp and square quilted framing is from a set called Quilter Sampler Additions by Papertrey Ink and the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment is from the H&M Stamp set called My Favorite Valentines which is back in stock and at a great low price so be sure to check it out!!
Heather let us know that all the following sets are now back in stock over at H&M Stamps:

I love your cards! They go so great with the comforter set :) Too cool!
What county in Ireland is your banner picture in? I have family in Co. Mayo and have been there twice...it's beautiful!
What a fabulous combination of colors and patterns ... both cards are lovely ... it's amazing to see how much effect just a little sponging has to a design.
Beautiful use of DP! I might have to try this!
What a gorgeous design! The papers go so well with the quilt inspiration. The stamps are so lovely as well! Thanks for the sponging tip!
Great cards! I love this little set, but it is on backorder at PTI! It is perfect with this paper!
LeAnne
great job on the mutiple challenges, Julia! I especially like the stepped up one...the stitching adds so much texture. I also like that your heart is set in a window. I'd say you nailed the IC!
Glad you had a great time in the wilds...bet you had lots of thoughtful moments to store until you got back to your stamping studio!!!
Have a great rest of the day
Both are really lovely, but the stitching does add some texture I think! I really love the dp!
