Friendship Sewn in a Pizza Box

Isn't this just the cutest miniature pizza box?!?! What a wonderful Try a New Technique challenge this week over on Split Coast. You can see Jen Del Muro's instructions for this box here. (It's an Adobe file). Mine is a 4x4 and she also gives directions for a 3x3.

I made mine a quilt top package that will have these sewing kit items inside to give to a friend. All the stamps, paper and ribbon are from Papertrey Ink. Nicole offers a free download of her new designer papers every month at her site. I save it to a file on my computer and I print it on cardstock. Then I can use them whenever I want to on cards or projects.

I got the sewing kit from Oriental Trading Company. They don't offer the same one now that I show - but this is similar - just less items. (I got mine last year).

You can see everyone's pizza boxes on SCS here.

AND a reminder to check out my H&M blog candy here. You can enter to win for this until 10/7. I will post the winner at 10 PM Eastern Standard Time.

AND a reminder that Kristin at Artful INKables is offering a grab bag of stamps for every order over $25.oo between now and October 12th and you get 10% off your order if you use the code on the right column of my blog here.

Thanks so much for coming by today - leave me a comment so I can come visit you too!

Love how you coordinated your pretty box with the sewing kit. Neat idea. I made one of those boxes, put candy in it and took it to the friend who hosts our craft club. Was in a hurry and didn't take a pic but it turned out cute. Plan to make some more. tfs
