On the 10th of each month, Lynn posts a new challenge for us in the Waltzingmouse Forum. You can check out all the deets here.
So, for January the challenge is to look skyward - to the day or night time sky. I chose the night time sky and here's the card I created:
Santa and his sleigh on a white panel, masked a circle and sponged the panel using 3 shades of blue starting with the lightest, ending with the darkest. I removed the mask - and voila! - a beautiful white moon in the night time sky - silhouetting Santa and his reindeer as they fly by!
I die cut the Country Landscape and cut it to fit the bottom of the panel. I stamped the sentiment on the card and then embossed it with my Swiss Dots embossing folder. I made 7 of these cards - a great start to my stash of cards for Christmas 2012!
So - are you ready to start your cards?? Come join us in the WMS Forum!!
