Inkspirational #348 - Clean and Simple - optional Flowers

Today I'm sharing my DT card for the newest Inspirational Challenge #348.

Clean and Simple - Optional Twist: Flowers

I used the optional twist of flowers using a new purchase - Every Occasion Floral W and Sentiment Better Press Press Plate.
It fits the bill of being CAS and featuring flowers!

I used Better Press French Blue ink on Gray Cotton Card.
I filled in the centers of the blooms with a Gold Sharpie - so there is a little bit of shimmer in the light.
Since this was so CAS (ie easy to make!) - I made another card using the same Press Plate but this time using Better Press Mulberry ink on Bisque Cotton Card.
(It looks black in the pic - but IRL it is a dark purple!)

I added clear crystals to the centers of the flowers.

So please join us and show us your Clean and Simple cards - maybe using flowers?!  You'll find inspiration from the rest of the DT as well as Mr. Linky over at the Inkspirational Blog!

This challenge ends 8/29

I'm also sending my card to:

first time using this better press plate.

Add embellishments -  added clear crystals to the flower centers on my 2nd card
ends 8/25

  4. Two lovely sympathy cards, Julia! I love the blue and purple and they must be even prettier in person with the slight indentation you get with a press plate. Sue N

  9. Julia, your floral letter cards are beautiful. You've let their elegant simplicity shine. I have several of these letter/floral press plates - and most have yet to be inked. Thank you for inspiring me to bring them out for a play.

  13. What a lovely stamp to have on hand for a sympathy card. I really like this design, it doesn’t need anything more than the little something you added to the flower centre. Beautiful.
