Inkspirational Challenge #299 has just been posted - and it is Clean and Simple with the optional twist - Inspired by a Movie.
As I was just getting ready to make my Design Team card for this challenge, a friend asked if I could create a card for her friend who just lost her sweet little dog, Tessa, to cancer. So I went with Clean and Simple on my card and did not do the optional twist of being inspired by a movie.
My friend said she didn't know what kind of dog Tessa was but she was a little white 'fluff ball' with black eyes. So this little pup on my card was the closest dog image I had to fit that description!
The pup is from Dog Kisses by Stampendous. The sentiment is from Rainbow Bridge by Honey Bee.
If I was going to be inspired by a movie - it could have been Hotel for Dogs: the film tells the story of two orphaned siblings (living in foster care), who secretly take in stray dogs along with their family dog at a vacant hotel.
I didn't see the movie - but they have some white 'fluff ball' dogs on their poster!
So, please join us and link up your Clean and Simple Card (maybe inspired by a movie?) over at Inkspirational!
You have until Oct 6th to link up!

This is such a sweet sympathy card, Julia. Your friend is going to love it. The CAS design in black and white is perfection. xx
ReplyDeleteJulia, your sympathy card is sweet and thoughtful. Losing a furbaby is so hard; guaranteed your friend's friend will be deeply touched by what you've created for her. Hotel for Dogs - haven't seen it but the premise sounds interesting. I mean, a hotel for stray dogs? Cute!

ReplyDeleteA darling little card that is sure to bring comfort, Julia. Our son did a report on Hotel for Dogs when he was in elementary school. He made a mobile with a hotel as the center and little dogs dangling from it. It was adorable!
