The Try a New Technique challenge over on Splitcoaststampers yesterday was to make an Open Trellis Card. It's really easy to make and creates such a fun card design!
here's the YouTube Link for making the Open Trellis by Karen Phillip
The first card I made is one requested by a friend to give to her daughter-in-law for her birthday.
I die cut the stars out of gold metallic paper and then embossed them with a Lumber embossing folder. The name is also die cut.
Then I made a 2nd Open Trellis card as a Christmas card.
