Mad for Plaid

Joining in on the latest Jingle Belles Christmas Card Challenge - We Wish You a Plaid Christmas.

I used both plaid and striped DP  behind my little candy cane balancing elf I made using Santa's Helper die from Tim Holtz/Sizzix.   The sentiment is a Label Sticker.  I made the feather in his cap by clipping of a little wing off of a punched bird.  I used White Glossy Nuvo Drops for his fur collar and cuffs.  I added gold dots to his jacket and used a green pencil for the line between his arms and defining the edge between his cap and face.  The buckle is die cut out of gold metallic paper.

This card also works for the Split Coast Stampers Fan Club April Christmas card challenge which is based on a Christmas Movie - can you guess which one??!

Paper:  True Black, Harvest Gold, New Leaf, White, Pure Poppy, Pure Poppy Pattern Pack - PTI, Metallic Gold - Park Lane/JoAnn, DP Mini Stash Christmas - Tim Holtz/Idea-ology

Accessories:  Santa's Helper Die - Tim Holtz/Sizzix, bird punch (wing used for feather in cap) - Martha Stewart, green colored Pencil, Gold Paint Marker - Top Notch, Label Stickers: Christmas - Tim Holtz/Idea-ology, White Nuvo Drops.
