I'm happy to report that as of this month, I have moved from the CAS Stencil Challenge to the CAS Christmas Challenge!
Loll has done some rearranging and redesigning of the CAS Challenges and she combined the Stencil, Watercolor and Mix Up challenges into one challenge, alternating months.
The CAS Christmas Challenge has stayed the same but with some of the designers from the other teams (like me!) who moved over.
So this month - the CAS Christmas Challenge is BELLS!
Here's my card.
I used a retired Waltzingmouse bell stamp and die from the Folk Art Creations set. The branch is from Holiday Greens by Tim Holtz/Sizzix, the peace is from Papertrey Ink, and the Nordic frame panel is from The Greetery. I die cut the bell out of gold cardstock, stamped over the bell with Versamark and white embossed it. I looped a doubled piece of Metallic Thread through the top of the bell, tied it in a bow and adhered it over the foliage with foam dots.
These were so easy - I made 6 of them while I had the supplies out!
You'll find lot's of inspiration from the Design Team as well as our creative Guest Designer LeAnne over at the CAS Christmas Blog. We can't wait to see your CAS Christmas card with bells!

ReplyDeleteSo elegant and I love your white on white layering! Gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteOoh, your white on white card (or should I say cards plural - way to get 6 done!) is so classy and elegant. At first I thought the bell was just a die... it looks great white embossed with the gold peeking through. And welcome to the team!
ReplyDeleteI love white on white. It always looks so elegant and with the touch of gold, it's perfect. Beautiful card, Julia and welcome to the team.
ReplyDeleteEmbossing this bell over the gold makes it so elegant, Julia! Your card is so elegant and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe predominantly white card with the pop of gold looks so classy and elegant and it is one fabulous CAS card Julia x.
ReplyDeleteYes......elegant!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous and special bell you created, Julia! White heat-embossing over the gold card stock (bell) is a brilliant idea! All white die-cuts play a different role, and yet, the card looks very CAS. Good for you to make 6 of them! I'm so happy to be back on the same DT with you! :-)
ReplyDeleteHideko xx
