Today I am participating in a blog hop along with the rest of Eileen Hull's Inspiration Team to introduce her Chapter 2 Tiny Book Case die as well as her Tiny Book Die that has just been released!
The hop starts on Eileen's blog here.
Full hop list located at the end of my post as well.
The die is called Tiny Book Case and Eileen also created another Chapter 2 die called Tiny Book that fits right inside this case! Today I just used the Book Case die as a treat box!
It measures 3 1/2" x 2 3/4" x 5/8"
This would be a perfect way to share a little love with someone as we practice our social distancing during this Coronavirus Crisis. Just drop it off on their front porch or in their mailbox.

I have a couple of photos to show how I put it together - as the Tiny Book Case is just one piece
(accept for some accessory pieces).
I die cut the patterned paper in two pieces as shown.
Sometimes if you adhere the paper over the scored bends the paper can tear when you bend it after it dries. To try and avoid this I used a separate piece on the right below (blue with hearts), that doesn't go over a scoring - and on the larger piece that does go over scored bends, I glued the paper onto the matboard, let it sit a minute, and then gently bent on the scorelines so the paper had a chance to move with the bend. If you do this before the glue dries it seems to work - I didn't get any tears.

Here's the back of the box. I adhered the ribbon to the box here with a strip of Redline tape so when the receiver untied the front, the ribbon would stay with the box so it could easily be tied closed again
I found that 2 Ghirardelli Chocolates fit perfectly inside this box.
A gift card or a note fits perfectly inside as well!

I also adhered a little strip of blue heart paper on the exposed pieces of the tabs seen when you open the box.
So let's see how the rest of the team have used these sweet new dies!
