Today I'm participating in the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop. Here is the lovely photo we were given for inspiration.
And here is my card.
I got out an older PTI set Tea for Two Additions and die cut 3 white cups. Then using the stamps in the set I stamped one in Pale Peony, one in Simply Chartreuse and one in Spring Rain. I scraped the edges of each cup over a Gold Ink pad.
I die cut the card and patterned paper using Noted: Scalloped A2 dies.
To stamp the middle cup with the handle facing the other way, I used a Mirror Image Stamp by Delta which is just a wooden stamp with a solid piece of red rubber on it. I stamped the image onto the rubber and then placed the turned over tea cup over the inking and pressed. The image comes out a little blurry but i like how it looks!
I'm off to check out all the other inspired cards over at the Papertrey Ink Blog.
