A Green Thumb

I have another card to share for Nicole's Papertrey Ink 10th Birthday celebration challenges.  Today I'm using a stamp set from 2007 -  Green Thumb.
I randomly stamped the larger flower in Royal Velvet and the smaller one in Soft Stone on a white panel.  I added a sentiment from Damask Designs (a 2009 set) in black and purple rhinestones to the centers of the larger blooms.

I'm linking my Praying for You card to Nicole's 2007 Challenge

I made a second card using the same flower but using different colors and a birthday sentiment from Damask Designs.  I stamped these flowers in Hawaiian Shores, Hibiscus Burst, and Harvest Gold.  I added coordinating colors of rhinestones to 3 of the blooms.
I'm linking this birthday card to:

I was inspired by the colors and flowers

Paper:  White - PTI

  1. Two very beautiful, and quite unique cards using this flower design. It looks great on the first card as the focal point, but equally lovely as the colored border design on #2! TFS

  3. Wow, these are both so beautiful! Yet so very different! I love that the top one (sympathy) is so subdued and "calm" - the small gems add, but are not too much. Then the birthday card is "happy, happy, happy!" Excellent work!!

  6. I really love these CAS cards, Julia - a style I've never mastered myself, but I love it when I see done this well.

  7. Great examples of how a change in colour can totally change the mood and feeling of cards using the same stamp. I especially love the mix of happy colours in the birthday one. Fabulous CAS cards!
