Happy New Year Everyone! Not only is it a new year - but there is a new challenge up over at the CAS Mix Up Challenge!
I used stamping, Alcohol Inks as my liquid colors, a die cut sentiment and sequins.
Here's how I used the Adirondack Alcohol Inks. I got out Stonewashed, Lettuce and Gold Mixative Alcohol Inks and dropped some of each onto the applicator felt on a Blending tool.
Then I pounced the blending tool over a piece of Yupo paper on my nonstick craft mat until I was happy with the design and coverage.
I cut the panel in half , each 2 1/2" x 3 1/2", and was able to make two cards from it. I layered the panel over a white card stock base. I stamped the happy on a small white rectangle and layered it over the Yupo piece with foam dots. I die cut the birthday from black card stock and adhered it along the bottom. To finish off my design, I added 3 blue sequins.
So how will you use liquid colors on your card? Please link it up over at the CAS Mix Up Challenge - where you'll find a video from Loll on how she used Alcohol Inks as well as wonderful inspiration from the Design Team!
