November Mixed Media Card Challenge - Family

It's the first of November and time for a new Mixed Media Card Challenge!  Here's what Shari has for us this month:
For my Mixed Media Creation this month, I used a photo of my sweet 3 year old grandniece, Mila, that her mother recently took when their family went to a farm for apple picking.  They had a bunch of stacked bales of hay that the kids could play on and Mila and Landon started throwing the loose hay into the air -  I love how Katie caught the thrown hay in mid air!
First, I inserted the photo into a Cabinet Card Frame.  I added a strip of Regions Beyond Tissue tape along the bottom and stapled a strip of Film Strip Ribbon up the side. I layered Alpha Tiles over the Film Strip.
I colored a metal File Tab with Espresso Adirondack Alcohol Ink, added the word Family to it and  pinched it onto the top edge.  I added some Chit Chat Stickers about family (story, laughter, together, blessed, love and memories)
I die cut the Mini Acorn and Pumpkin and embossed them with Wendy Vecchi Orange Blossom and Tree Branch Embossing powders.
I love making cards using family photos -  they make great keepsakes and are such a nice way to preserve the memory of a special day!
We hope you will join us this month with your Mixed Media Card in the theme of Family with the optional element of arrows!  You'll find all the info about the challenge as well as some wonderful inspiration from the rest of the Design Team here.
Ink:  Wendy Vecchi Archival Ink Tree Branch and Orange Blossom.
Accessories:  Idea-ology Alpha Tiles, File Tabs, Chit Chat Stickers, Label Letters, Film Strip Ribbon, Regions Beyond Tissue Tape;  heat tool, Black Stabilo Pencil, Wendy Vecchi Embossing Powders Orange Blossom and Tree Branch, Espresso Adirondack Alcohol Ink, Mini Attacher - Ranger, foam dots.
