For this card I used a die cut cup and saucer (I received free in an order from the Funkie Junkie Boutique, Linda includes a little envelope of free things in every order) it's Tim Holtz Tea Time die. (is 'tea' a swear word here??! well, my cup has espresso in it! ) The sentiment is from Coffee Set by Waltzingmouse. I used papers with fall colors to fit the fall theme, as well as gold, orange and brown on the cup and saucer.
I used a cool technique on my cup and saucer called Faux Gilded Technique that Wendy Vecchi created - you can see it on this You Tube video. I rubbed Wendy's Metallic Gold Embossing paste lightly over the die cut cup and saucer - not covering it entirely. Then I sponged over both pieces with Wendy's Archival Orange Blossom Ink and then Tree Branch Ink. It's shiny IRL but it doesn't show in the pic.
Have you seen all of the prizes up for grabs over at the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop?? Check it out here - and link up your card!
