Eggs and Bunnies for Easter

Did you see the fantastic post Tim Holtz did on Alcohol Inks and little plastic Easter eggs?  You'll find his video tutorial here.

He used white eggs that he found in a craft store this year -  but I had a bunch of pastel ones already (and I couldn't find white ones!)so I used them.  I think with the white eggs the color of the alcohol inks is more true.  I used pastel blue, pink, purple, and yellow eggs and I actually did find one white one in my bag (don't know where it came from!?!)

The second one in from the left, front row above - is the white egg - the rest were colored.

I used several colors of Alcohol Inks for my eggs - Stream, Butterscotch, Cranberry and Lettuce along with Gold Mixative. I applied the inks with a Blending tool and Felt pads.

I'm linking this egg in the middle to the Colour Q challenge  I used Cranberry, Butterscotch, Lettuce and Stream -  similar colors to those listed for the challenge!  I actually used these same colors on all the eggs but they look different depending on the color of the egg itself!
 
I love how they come out -  so much prettier than dipping real eggs in dye aren't they?!

In case you are wondering - I got the little pink egg box at Bath and Body last year -  I think they were packaging for their plug-in air fresheners - but you could buy the box separately.  I thought it was cute and bought one - but this is the first time I've used it in a year (!)

I also have a couple of Bunny cards to share that I made to send my Grand Nephews and Nieces.  The vintage images are Clip Art from The Vintage Workshop.  I bought them on a disk years ago - and the site has now changed - they sell individual images and some are free  - I don't see the white bunny there. 
I printed the bunnies, cut them out along with a plain white backing and adhered the pieces together at the top just below the ears.  I scored the back piece just below where I had adhered them together so they would stand up. I added blue rhinestones to the white bunny and a pink wrinkled seam tape bow to the white and black bunny.
