Create With Me: Waltzingmouse Dec Release

Welcome to day 3 of the Previews for the December Waltzingmouse Release - both of the new sets Old Country Roses and Vintage Postcards will be available to purchase tomorrow (Dec 2) at 2 pm EST! Today the Design Team is giving you a little more inspiration for BOTH new sets.

First I have another card using Old Country Roses - this time I did it up in blues! Both the leaves and the blooms are smaller versions of the stamps I used here on Day 1. I used an older WMS stamp - Pinstripe Backgrounder - for the background.

I also used a Stitched Tag Die and Pretty Panels #2 die. To stamp the leaves behind the tag - I first laid the tag on the card where I wanted it and drew some pencil lines along the edges - then I removed the tag - stamped the leaves so they would be partially behind the tag, erased the pencil markings - and then adhered the tag over the stamped leaves.

I used stamps from Vintage Postcards for my second card along with a circle stamp from an older WMS set Ocean Bound. I stamped the postage stamp, cut it out and layered it inside the rope circle stamp. I stamped the cancellation over the stamp with a light colored ink so you could see it to the side but it didn't obliterate the postage stamp image! Since the Postage Stamp has a heart on it - I think I'll use this card for a Valentine in February!
