I'm sure a lot of people in the US will be glued to their TV sets for the Superbowl on Sunday! Our team (the Patriots) didn't make it this year so the thrill of watching the game isn't quite as high as it would be if they were playing - but we will probably have the game on even if we don't watch it closely!
My card today depicts a much simpler game - checkers! and I created it for
the Cas-ology Cue Card challenge - the cue card this week is GAME.
I stamped this cute little game board from
Lockhart Stamps onto red card stock, cut it out and layered it onto my 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" card that I had embossed with the
Spellbinders Fleur de lis square.
I had the perfect sentiment to go along with my game board - it's from the Waltzingmouse set called
Half Pint Heroes. I popped the checkerboard up on foam tape.
