Rubbernecker and the Twinery - A Fun Blog Hop!

Hi stampin' friends!   Today the Rubbernecker Design Team (AKA the Stampin' Sisterhood) -  is joining along with The Twinery DT for a fun blog hop!   We're combining Rubbernecker Stamps with the delicious Bakers Twine from The Twinery

You should start the hop at  the Stampin' Sisterhood Blog or at The Twinery Blog where you'll find all the details on how and what you can win as well as the complete blog hop list.

If you came here from MonikaWright's Blog you are in the right place!

I created a colorful frame for my stamped image using twine today.   I dry embossed a square Nestability on my card base then I adhered ScorTape around the outside of the frame.  I put down one layer of twine at a time over the ScorTape, starting at the top center edge of the frame working my way around the sides to the bottom having both ends come to the right corner.  I used 3 colors of Bakers Twine - Caribbean, Honeydew and Lemondrop.  I also made a little pom pom by winding the 3 colors of twine around a piece of cardboard - slipping the loops off the cardboard and tying it around the center with another piece of twine.  Then I cut the loops on each side and fluffed the ends.  I adhered the pom pom in the corner of the frame with a glue dot to cover all the ends of twine!

I stamped the pretty Floral #3 in black ink on October Afternoon/Farmhouse patterned paper.  I also stamped the word 'friend' from the Box Word Set.  These little words are just perfect for being able to stamp a sentiment in a small space!   I layered the stamped panel inside the frame with foam tape.  I also added 3 rhinestones - one blue, one yellow, one green to coordinate with the twine colors.

Now off you go to Jamie Cripps blog to see her lovely creation!

Remember to leave a comment on each blog along on the way to be eligible to win.  Deadline to leave comments  is 11:59 pm EDT, Friday, June 8th.

You could win a $25 gift certificate from Rubbernecker Stamps.

The Twinery will be giving away the 'I Dream in Color' Sampler Pack, retail value of $32!

Thanks so much for coming by today!
