If you came here from Lynn's Blog you're in the right place.
I've been so excited by these new sets that I made 3 cards for the waltz today -
This one uses Vintage Banners (large banner, row of stars, and sentiment) & Bitty Banners (tag ribbons & large star) Vintage banners is compatible with the Spellbinders Nested Pennants & Nested Lacey Pennants available in mid-March.
For this card I cut my star out of a panel from a cardboard box with the star Nestabilities. I ripped off some of the top layer to expose the ridges and sponged it with my Color Box Silver ink pad. The sentiments, boots and circle star are from Back in the Saddle, the desert background is from Way Out West. The silver ink is so moist - I had to use the brads to hold the sentiments onto the star!
On my final card (thanks for sticking with me!) The sentiment is from Back in the Saddle, the row of stars is from Way Out West.
Yee Haw Card:Stamps: Waltzingmouse - sentiments, boots & stars - Back in the Saddle, desert background - Way Out WestPaper: Rustic Cream, Ripe Avocado - PTI, panel from cardboard box for starInk: Ranger Distress Bundled Sage & Old Paper, Color Box silverAccessories: Brads - Imaginisce, Regal Crest Die - Tim Holtz Alterations/Sizzix, Star Nestability.
