Waltzingmouse March Release Blog Waltz

Hello dear friends! Welcome to the Waltzingmouse March Release Design Team Blog Waltz! All 5 new sets are available to purchase today!

Way Out West, Back in the Saddle, Vintage Labels 18, Vintage Banners and Bitty Banners!

You'll want to start your waltz over at Claire's blog . You'll find the full line of the waltz there in case you lose your way!

If you came here from Lynn's Blog you're in the right place.

I've been so excited by these new sets that I made 3 cards for the waltz today -

This one uses Vintage Banners (large banner, row of stars, and sentiment) & Bitty Banners (tag ribbons & large star) Vintage banners is compatible with the Spellbinders Nested Pennants & Nested Lacey Pennants available in mid-March.

For this card I cut my star out of a panel from a cardboard box with the star Nestabilities. I ripped off some of the top layer to expose the ridges and sponged it with my Color Box Silver ink pad. The sentiments, boots and circle star are from Back in the Saddle, the desert background is from Way Out West. The silver ink is so moist - I had to use the brads to hold the sentiments onto the star!

On my final card (thanks for sticking with me!) The sentiment is from Back in the Saddle, the row of stars is from Way Out West.

Remember to leave comments on all of the DT's blogs as you waltz today - one lucky commenter will win a WMS stamp set! AND be sure to go to the Waltzingmouse Store to order the stamp sets that tickled your fancy!!

Comments must be left by 11:59 pm EST on 3/2/11 . Winners will be announced on the WMS Blog on 3/3/11.

Now 'git along little doggies' over to the ever talented Carly's blog to see what she's waltzing with today!

  23. Loved all three of your cards. I think my favorite stamps sets are the Way out West and Back in the Saddle Again. They are perfect for our AZ photos. We go there almost every year in the early spring when we are so tired of all of the rain and greys skies here in the PNW.
