Here's my card for this weeks Tuesday Teapot Party over at Split Coast - I really have no story to go with my card today (!) other than I was inspired by the cross word puzzle teapot Cindy showed us. I had this fun piece of acetate designer paper called brick wall - (the black is printed on the clear acetate) and I layered it over a pretty fibrous paper that had green and brown Asian writing on it - the colors reminded me of tea! You can see the gloss of the acetate on this card IRL but not in the pic! (at least there's no glare on it either!)
And I thought this sentiment might calm down both Chris and Crisanne (his girlfriend) who were all in a tither about Chris not remembering how to spell TEAPOT for the big Crossword puzzle challenge in Boston he was involved in! (check the link to the teapot party to see what I'm talking about here!)
So maybe I do have a story after all!?
I've got a really busy weekend coming up - Kent and I are going to a play on Friday night, a matinee play on Saturday and then Sunday is Palm Sunday so there'll be church and my Easter craft sale after services.
So you may not hear from me until Monday when I'll be back with a sneak peek for a new Waltzingmouse set coming out on 4/1!! Whoo hoo! Claire will have her own sneak peek on Sunday so check that out too!!
