Halloween Treat Cones - For Big Spooks and Little Spooks!

Here are two fun spooky Halloween cone treat holders I made using the Halloween Party set by Waltzingmouse Stamps. The large one is a made using a 9 3/4" diameter circle that I cut from a piece of 12"x12" designer paper. I rolled it up making a cone shape and adhered the edge with a piece of Scor Tape.
The smaller cone is made from the largest scalloped circle Nestability (4 1/4" diameter)that I curled into a cone shape just like the big one. I punched a tag for this one, added a cute bat eyelet I had and tied it around the ribbon handle with a piece of black twine. The image on the front is a fun boiling pot of witch's brew ("cackle, cackle!" ). I punched the image with a circle punch and adhered it to a scalloped circle.

The ribbon handles are attached with brads on both cones. I adhered a piece of black lace from my stash around the top edge of the large cone. The witch is embossed with black embossing powder, cut with an oval Nestability and layered to a scalloped oval using foam dimensionals. I sponged the edges with ink. It's attached to the cone with Scor Tape to be sure it stays on the curved edge! I made the bow with Sharon's Bow Easy and attached it with a glue dot.

I only used the top portion of one of the verse stamps in the set for my sentiment. I just inked up the portion that I wanted - stamped it and cut it out with a petite oval Nestability - again layered to a petite scalloped oval. I sponged these edges too. Then I added a cute little black pom pom to the bottom of each cone with a glue dot! I filled the baskets with Halloween colors paper shred but would also add some yummy spooky sweet treats if I was giving this as a gift!!

Let me know if you have any questions about how I made these fun cones. Thanks so much for coming by today - hope you all have a great weekend!
