Fusion Card Challenge Jan 16th

Time for another Thursday  Fusion Challenge!  Don't you just love this photo?  And the sketch is fabulous as well!
I focused on the flowers and the woodgrain background with a little nod to the sketch in the placement of the flowers and sentiment!  I white embossed the woodgrain background from Waltzingmouse on chocolate card stock. I love how it came out!
I've had these lovely paper flowers from Prima for ages and I was so happy to use them here - aren't they pretty?!  To get the touch of black in - I added punched ferns around the blooms.
I stamped my sentiment from WPlus9 on a Sentiment Strip from MFT layering it over a piece of ric rac with foam tape.
Here are the links to the rest of the talented Fusion Design Team where you will find more wonderful inspiration for this weeks' challenge!

Stamps:   Woodgrain Backgrounder - Waltzingmouse, On Your Special Day from Fresh Cut Flowers Set - WPlus9.

Accessories:  Prima Floral Embellishments, white embossing powder, heat gun, Glue N Seal, Ric Rac - Joannes, foam dots, Sentiment Strips Die - MFT, Black Rhinestones - Kaiser Craft, fern punch - Martha Stewart Punch.

Hi Julia,

isn't it funny how we hold onto something ... forever, wondering how on earth to employ it, and then all of a sudden...

Well it certainly worked for you, your card is beauty-lishious!

Blessings,
Barb
