Sumr - 12

I'm the color challenge hostess today over on Split Coast  - and in honor of the coming summer - I've chosen a monochromatic color scheme - Pool Party, Island Indigo and Whispering White.

I used a fun new stamp and die set I just got - Vanity License Plate by MFT.   I stamped the cropped message - SUMR-12  on the die cut license plate adding silver brads to the holes in the plate. I embossed my card with Retro Circles by Sizzix and layered a wave cut with another die from MFT. The license plate is popped up on foam tape.

This is also for this week's CAS challenge - a sketch - I flipped the sketch on it's side. Oh - and the dessert option for my challenge today is to make it about water - the ocean, a lake or a cool summer drink!

I've been busy making cards for the Waltzingmouse sneak peeks which start on Thursday - June 28th!!  Wait until you see the wonderful new stamps Claire has designed!   I hope you'll join me every day from 6/28 up to the release on 7/1!

Stamps: Vanity License Plate - My Favorite Things
Paper: white - PTI, Island Indigo & Pool Party - SU
Ink: Ranger Distress Peacodk Feathers
Accessories: dienamics dies - catch a wave and License plate - MFT, silver circle brads - Making Memories, Retro Circles Embossing Folder - Sizzix, foam tape
